Abstract:
This is joint work with S.Ivanov. We analyze different versions of the definition of isoperimetric functions of infinitely presented groups to show which one is the most suitable from the view of the word problem.

We give an upper bound for the Dehn functions of 3-generated infinite torsion 2-group of intermediate growth constructed by the speaker in 1980. This time it will be given by I.Lysenok's presentation and of free Burnside groups of large exponents given by minimal presentations described in papers the of A.Olshanskii and S.Ivanov.
