New York, in collaboration with Texas A & M,
announces a two-day conference on group
theory. The conference will celebrate the
100th anniversary of the birth
of one of the founders of infinite group theory, Wilhelm Magnus.
This conference will be held at the City College of New York
at 137th and Convent Ave on Friday September 28 2007 and at the
CUNY Graduate Center on 5th Ave at 34th St on Saturday, September 29.
