JOHN T. MURRAY joined CAISS in January, 2007 as Director of Administration, with responsibility for organization and development, technology transfer and external liaison. He began his career as a labor attorney with urban school systems and major manufacturers, and for the past two decades has served as a senior manager and corporate counsel in the transport industry. In this capacity he introduced innovative human resources techniques to growing segments of the industry, particularly in the areas of training, compensation, risk management and dispute resolution. He participated at the executive level in the transformations of modality, communications, tracking and compliance which marked this period, and helped shape the security scenarios following the Gulf War and September 11th.

John Murray is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and is involved in numerous projects related to his transportation interests.
