October 1st
Arrangements for the first day of our conference are now complete.
There will be two informal talks on October 1st. Audience participation will be very much encouraged. The talks will be held in Steinman Hall, in the Lecture hall on the first floor. Coffee and tea will be available throughout the day.

Besides the research conducted by the members of CAISS, the Center for Algorithms and Interactive Scientific Software, both past and present, CAISS is the home of the infinite group package MAGNUS, the statistics software package Caiss-Stat, and the group theory puzzle game EXPACON.
Computers will be set up in Shepard Hall, Room 278 for anyone who is interested in the software and/or the game. A number of these computers will be available for internet access as well. Everyone is welcome to use that room.
